Finding Your Authentic Voice

The goal here is not to simply repeat rote sequences that bore you and your students -- Jason will guide you by helping you identify your goals and personality as a teacher. From their you will experiment and gain clarity about what you are most compelled to teach your students.
Deep Dive into Pose Categories

We will look at common imbalances in vinyasa yoga (as well as how to remedy those imbalances, and we'll explore every pose category -- forward bends, backbends, arm balances, and inversions -- so that you are well-informed and well-prepared.

The fastest route to teacher burnout is feeling like you're inventing the wheel day after day, week after week with your sequences. It's also common for yoga teachers to feel like they have to "entertain" their students with creative sequences. Jason will teach you how to craft a grounded yoga curriculum so that your classes have a throughline, and your students make progress and keep coming back.
The Final Expression

Once you identify what you want to teach, you can combine that with Jason's templates so that your classes are a unique expression of you -- with your heart, your thoughts, and your intention. Your sequences will reflect who you are and what you feel deeply about sharing.

I've been teaching vinyasa yoga to teachers around the world for nearly two decades.

The problems I've observed when it comes to yoga sequencing are most commonly:

You either haven't been taught to create logical, progressive sequences in your foundational teacher training programs.

Can I get continuing education units (CEU) for Yoga Alliance from this course?

Yes, if you choose self-paced, you will earn 14 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for the course. If you choose the Group Call option, you will receive 26 CEUs. After you've completed the course, you will contact Yoga Alliance to register these hours.

I'm not sure I can make it to the live Zoom calls. Is that OK?

Yes! If you have registered for the Group Call option, we will send out links to the Zoom replays the same day the meetings are conducted.

Is all of the teaching done via Livestream?

No, the bulk of the course is delivered through pre-recorded videos. We deliver our courses this way for two reasons: First, it gives you the flexibility to move through the content on your own timeline. Second, it allows you to join from a different time zone. And third, it ensures high quality video and no interruptions -- the last thing we want is for you to experience a disruption in the internet connection during a class or lecture!
