about our online courses
Are your trainings Yoga Alliance accredited?
Yes, all of our courses are Yoga Alliance accredited.
Do I need to be a teacher to take these courses?
Nope. Many of our students are longtime practitioners who simply want to deepen their practice. Jason’s clear and methodical teaching style makes complex concepts accessible to all levels.
Do you have self-paced options?
Yes! All of our Continuing Ed courses (Pranayama, Anatomy, Sequencing, Beginners, and Preventing Yoga Injuries) have a Self-Paced option.
We believe that foundational training like a 200-hour and 300-hour requires the guidance of an experienced teacher. You deserve to have that support! So, our 200-hour and 300-hour trainings are not self-paced. We include live calls with Jason as well as self-paced lectures and practices. If you’re unable to make the live calls, we send out replays.
How do I access the courses after I purchase them?
Once you hit purchase, you will receive and autogenerated email from our learning platform, Kartra. The email will include a link to your course, plus your personal login and password. From there you can login and get started on the course!
How long do I have access to your courses?
You will have access to our courses for 12 months. If you’d like to continue to have access to the content after 12 months, you will be given the opportunity to extend your access for a nominal monthly fee.
What payment options are available?
We accept all major credit cards, Google Pay, and Klarna. Klarna allows you to divide the cost up into a payment plan of your choosing. You may also pay via PayPal.
Will my credit card information be safe?
Yes, Kartra uses 256-bit encryption, which is the gold standard for protecting sensitive data. It's used by organizations like the military, financial institutions, and government agencies due to its strength against brute-force attacks.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, Klarna allows you to divide the cost up into a payment plan of your choosing.
Can I take this course even if I don’t think I want to teach?
Yes! The training is open to anyone interested in learning more about yoga and deepening their yoga practice.
What type of yoga will I be able to teach after this training?
You will be trained in vinyasa yoga and hatha yoga. You will have training in both the active flowing components of an asana class as well as quiet practices like Yoga Nidra, meditation, and pranayama.
Is this a self-paced training or are there calls with Jason?
We strongly believe that foundational trainings require support. For this reason, there are 14 weeks of group live calls directly with Jason. We offer the calls in two different time zones to accommodate your location.
The calls are your opportunity to practice together, ask questions, and connect with other students. The calls also act as an accountability partner, keeping you on track. Finally, Jason utilizes breakout rooms so that you will get to practice teach with other students from day one!
Will I really learn to teach yoga? Will there be practice teaching?
Yes and yes! Jason feels that it's important that students feel ready to start teaching after this course. To that end, the course provides set sequences that you will learn to teach, a clear sequencing methodology, and the opportunity to practice teaching in small groups. Learning to teach and speak in front of a group can be intimidating at first -- Jason scaffolds the learning to ensure that you feel safe and supported throughout the course.
Can I get started on the content before the live calls begin?
Yes, once you enroll, you will be sent an email that gives you access to more than 150+ of pre-recorded lectures, and assignments, as well as yoga, meditation, and pranayama practices. You can get started right away!
How is the course set up? What do I receive?

What are the graduation requirements for certification?

Will I receive a yoga teacher training certificate after completing this course?
Yes! After you pass the final exam (80% or higher), you will email us to let us know and we will send you your certificate. (Please know that for nervous test-takers, we allow you to take the test multiple times if needed. We aim to create an inclusive learning environment.)
If I have a Yoga Alliance 200-Hour Certification, will this qualify me to become an E-RYT 500?
Yes! This 300-hour, Advanced Curriculum will qualify you for Yoga Alliance’s 500-hour certification.
What are the prerequisites for joining the program?

Can I join the program if I have not done a 200-hour training?
It’s possible that exceptions can be made on a case-by-case basis for dedicated practitioners who want to join this training even if they haven’t done a 200-hour program. This would require a conversation with Jason regarding your background and experience. Please feel free to contact Jason directly at Jason@jasonyoga.com.
